Member Ordinary Deposit Account

This is a foundational account that serves as the backbone for many of our financial services, offering members the opportunity to build their savings and ownership stake in the cooperative.

Members can deposit as much as they want into their Member Ordinary Deposit Account, allowing them to save according to their financial capacity and goals. Members can also withdraw their savings at any time they desire, providing them with access to their funds when needed for various purposes.

Minimum Contribution: The Member Ordinary Deposit Account requires a minimum monthly contribution of 12,000 Kwacha. This contribution is broken down as follows:

• Registration Fee: There is a one-time registration fee of 2,000 Kwacha to open the account.


• Affordability: Members must demonstrate the ability to contribute 12,000 Kwacha every month to maintain the account.
