Sunbird SACCO Visits Stephanos Foundation: "The Magical Power of Education"
On Saturday, 21st September 2024, Sunbird SACCO had the pleasure of visiting the Stephanos Foundation under the inspiring theme, "The Magical Power of Education." Led by our CEO, Sharon T Kalea, and two of our esteemed board members, Mrs. Happy Kalongonda and Mr. George Mkhwema, the Sunbird SACCO staff team embarked on this motivational visit to empower the youth.
The event was graced by guest speaker, Dr. Tabitha Kayira, whose words left an indelible mark on the young minds. She shared her experiences and highlighted the life-changing impact that education can bring to vulnerable children.
As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, we proudly donated beddings for 50 vulnerable children, along with other essential items. This gesture aimed to support the foundation's noble cause of caring for and educating the less fortunate.
Team Stephanos welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed interacting with their entire staff. It was a heartwarming experience, and we look forward to continuing our support for such valuable initiatives that are shaping the future of our children.
Sunbird SACCO recently visited Malabada Health Centre in Ndirande, Blantyre, to connect with the vibrant youth of Ndirande Youth Zone. This dynamic group of young people is involved in various impactful activities that align with our values at Sunbird SACCO.
